Avon Tyrrell Update

I have just been reading a book called ‘Just a little run around the world’ written by a lady called Rosie Swale Pope and she just did that in 5 years.  I find books like this not only inspirational but also a reminder to us that we are fortunate enough to work in the outdoors world and you can still have an adventure whatever your age.  It is incumbent upon us to inspire young people to find the adventure and encourage individuals and teams to then take that beyond the discussion stage and actually get out there and do it.  The world is still a big place and there are still many adventures to be had, all it takes is motivation and the determination!

And this leads me on to our continuing conundrum, how do we as a charity on a limited marketing budget market Avon Tyrrell Outdoor Activity Centre so people know this wonderfully fabulous resource is available for all to use.  And not only that as a charity who focus on working with young people we endeavour to give excellent value for money so are prices are very competitive, much better than a lot of commercial centers, because we believe in offering as many people as possible an affordable opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors and learn from their experiences.  We are able to work with schools, youth groups, faith groups, families and corporate groups.    

Our unique centre at Avon Tyrrell allows us to offer many bespoke programmes ideally tailored to groups needs and budgets, and we pride ourselves in offering a very personalised service and high quality activities and Field Studies programmes.
