The main straw bale classroom has seen the clearance of a platitude of young toads that had left our nearby small lake prior to the concrete pillars being poured. The Maintenance Chaps are now busy putting the ground anchors in, so we know the building will never blow away as the anchors are set 4m into the ground. Later in the week we will be filling the foundation trench with reclaimed stone followed by compacted scalpings and then tyres filled with stone. Then we actually begin the body of the building. At each stage we are feeling our way and working out the issues as they arise and enjoying the process as we go.
