well I am back, sorry about the longish break but I have been tickled, and poked about and 
scrubbed as the boys and girls from the staff have given me a bit of a spruce up for the coming years bookings. Even with this going on they have still managed to squeeze in an orchestra every weekend, which has been a delight to my ears to hear all those children practicing their instruments and then giving concerts at the end of the weekend. The participants also had time to play on our activities so they have all had eventful weekends.

Not content with giving me a scrub up the Maintenance Team have also managed to give Whitefield lodge a makeover, so now all the lodges are looking fine and ready for the rest of the year.
We finally got the ok to build another 12 berth lodge which will be finished to a high spec and will include extra features for disability groups. Finally as if we did not have enough to do we have also got the ok to now go ahead with building a straw bale classroom and we hope to utilise volunteers to help us build this. So if you are interested please contact Claire on 01425 672347. This will be an interesting project….. More soon
